The honeymoon phase of a new relationship is those first few months where neither partner can do anything wrong because there is so much discovery occurring for both individuals that it overshadows the shortcomings of their new partner. But as sure as the sun eventually sets, the rapid-fire experience of discovery after discovery will end as well, and then each individual will become fully aware of their partner's flaws.
The Seven Moments can be applied to relationships as well. To keep things interesting, you can deliberately plan events to keep a romance exciting and new. While routine events do have their place in a relationship (reinforcement), planning (plotting) experiences together will keep a romance fresh and fun, and possibly reignite a weakening relationship.
